Hello Angela and Mick. I hope you get this e-mail, I just wanted to tell you what a lovely time my Mum (Molly) and I had when we dropped into your folk club last Thursday. You made us feel very welcome and it was nice to listen to your songs and tunes in such a friendly environment and to have a blow on the harmonica in non judgemental and enthusiastic company. I wish you well and I hope to drop in on you again one Thursday in the not too distant future. Cheers, Angela Gilroy July 2012

Just a note to say "thank you" for the warm and friendly welcome we received on Thursday evening at your

"club" and for letting us sing - we had a thoroughly enjoyable night and it was very refreshing for us to be privileged to spend a few hours with such friendly and receptive musicians - it was an evening we will always remember and I am sure we will be back later in the year. Very best wishes. Dave and Liz Gatland April2012

Hi Mick, thanks to yourself, your lovely wife, Liam, Ken and Mari and all the lads at the rowing club for your wonderful welcome once again during folk week, I thoroughly enjoyed meeting you all again and I am looking forward to doing it all again next year.

Hi Just wanted to say thank you for making Geoff and I so welcome last week when we were visiting Whitby . It was much appreciated and we enjoyed the club session. When we are in the area again we’ll get in touch to find out what is going on if that’s OK! Regards,Ann Othick 2010

Hiya both, I just thought I should drop you a line to say thanks for your hospitality at the folk club the other night. My wife (Julie) and I had a great evening and it was lovely to meet you all. I must admit, I particularly enjoyed the first part of the evening when we got to share a few tunes together. I'm not sure when our path will lead us back to Whitby, but I will try to ensure that it does so on a Thursday. Thanks again,Mike Orme.Feb.12

Wanted to say thank you, and the others, for making me feel so welcome last thursday. It was a pleasure to meet and spend some time with you. Thanks also for making me feel comfortable enough to sing in public for the first time. I will keep practising and hope to see you again soon. All the best guys. Mike Akester May 2010
